As discussed previously – Consciousness, time and space, is a cyclic event best captured by the definition: Consciousness moves ever from optimism/expansion to pessimism/contraction and back again in lesser and larger degrees. Time, space and polarity is a constitute of this process. It has its own order but I maintain that the very construct of time, space and consciousness can never provide total freedom.
Nonetheless it is interesting to examine the order of consciousness in an attempt to free oneself of it. Bohm described it according to the explicate order: That which is apparent, expressive and we perceive as our direct reality, and the implicate orders: Underlying realities of the one we perceive, which can be an infinite number becoming subtler and subtler. Each implicate reality giving rise to a denser explicit order.
Ken Wilber uses the model of holos where one reality is enveloped by another more encompassing reality. In the end it boils down to the same thing really. Those who pop out of the physical reality (OBE) must have experienced a feeling of expansion when one ventures into the closest impliciate order (which then becomes the explicate order of reality). It suggests that we live simultaneously in multiple levels of consciousness.
Unfortunately through our rigorous conditioning in earth reality we have become apparently, not actually, compartmentalized. On the bright side though the other you’s in the implicate orders will always be committed to you for 200 percent. It is in their vital interest – you can’t let yourself down. Visions of angels, clairvoyance and hearing etc. is to my understanding nothing more then guidance from yourself from the implicate. We just mis-translate it according to our belief systems and conditioning. Be it religious or otherwise.
